Up to £78,000 + £5,000 car allowance, company pension, private healthcare, dental cover, and bonus scheme Swansea We are recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join a Global Manufacturer in Swansea. The company in question is a first-class industry leader with a reputation for excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a Senior Engineering position that will involve establishing and delivering an Engineering strategy for a large plant and also leading exciting new projects up to £1 million within the Engineering Team. Responsibilities
Delivering cultural change for the Engineering department and continuously evaluating and evolving a structure that meets the needs of the plant Developing KPIs and delivering measurable improvements to the Engineering team performance Developing an effective Planned Predictive Maintenance (PPM) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) program Ensuring the plant achieves its daily targets in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People Leading CAPEX projects up to £1m within the department Being responsible for achieving the cost goals required of the department through actions including control of expenditure across Human Resource, Capital expenditure, consumables, and external labour Maintain an approach of 'never-ending improvement' This role involves direct management of 4 Engineers and a Maintenance and Facilities Lead. It is an excellent chance to be involved in putting your own stamp on a well-functioning engineering department and then being highly influential in succession planning of the Engineering team, ensuring skills and qualifications are achieved in line with ongoing and new system requirements.
