Monday to Friday Days Engineering Manager required for a very successful food manufacturing company who are truly market leaders in their industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role within the department. The company is committed to solving engineering challenges and improving the operation, safety, reliability, and performance of their plants and processes. Candidates must have proven experience leading a maintenance team in an engineering/manufacturing industry. Candidates need to have a track record of delivering improvements and preventive maintenance strategies. The successful candidate will report into the Group Engineering Manager and will oversee a team of 15. You will ensure that all engineering work is carried out in compliance with site systems, H&S legislation, and regulatory requirements. You will manage maintenance activity (CMMS) and deliver engineering projects. You will also oversee the implementation of new plant and equipment, and there will be an important drive to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the site. Management of Engineering Department Ensure all work carried out in compliance with site systems, H&S legislation, and industry requirements Cost, Manage and Deliver site projects on time with agreed budget Manage implementation of new plant and equipment on site Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the site Manage all process and production engineering activities Manage contractors Occasional travel to other sites The Engineering Manager Required:

Experience leading a maintenance team in an engineering/manufacturing industry Relevant qualification in engineering discipline Strong leadership skills Able to confidently introduce improvements and change when needed
