Engineering Program Manager

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage programs and projects within the Cargo and Vehicle Inspection division. If you have experience in managing new product development programs/projects across all functional disciplines, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Oversee engineering delivery for revenue projects. Collaborate with revenue project managers to ensure timely release of technical specifications and Bills of Materials (BoM). Ensure adherence to company standards and processes for revenue projects and documentation. Lead new product development projects from concept to launch. Create and maintain project schedules based on scope. Work with cross-functional teams to establish achievable project plans and schedules. Facilitate regular project meetings to drive progress. Manage project critical paths and prioritize work to maintain key milestones. Monitor and control project scope, document changes, and assess impacts on timelines, budgets, and quality. Manage risks and issues, apply mitigations and resolutions, and escalate when necessary. Organize key stage reviews with senior management to ensure projects are on track. Drive project decision-making with cost-benefit analysis. Ensure adherence to the new product development process and proper documentation release. Conduct project lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement. Utilize and maintain project management tools, methods, and templates for consistency. Provide weekly reports and monthly project status updates. Support continuous improvement of processes and standards to enhance engineering standards, design processes, operational performance, and business sustainability. Qualifications: Excellent communicator with strong written and oral communication skills, able to articulate to both internal engineers and external suppliers at all levels. Engineering background in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software disciplines. Knowledge of X-ray systems is an advantage. Proven track record of managing engineering projects across disciplines with successfully released products. Team player who can motivate and get the best out of the team. Willingness to travel overseas for larger projects. Education and Certifications: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering. Ideally PMP or similar PM professional qualification, or PRINCE2 qualified. Why Join Us?
