We are now looking for a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to sustaining and enhancing our market-leading medical devices.

The Role This is a technical role where you will lead both proactive and reactive projects to sustain BPR's released medical devices. You will play a key role in ensuring our products maintain the highest standards of quality, reliability, and manufacturability, working closely with manufacturing, business development teams, external partners, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage projects, ensuring effective planning, prioritisation, communication, and implementation. Develop evidence for compliance with standards, regulations, and audits. Manage multiple projects to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders and suppliers. Produce technical and project documentation, including specifications, design reviews, risk assessments, and test plans. Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies to resolve issues and enhance product performance. Stay updated with new technologies, processes, and materials to maintain a competitive edge. Drive product risk management activities, integrating compliance and business needs.

Person Specification 5-10 years' advanced mechanical engineering experience with a track record in project engineering. HND or degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical and/or Design Engineering. Proven experience in project management, leading and delivering technical projects. Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills. Problem-solving expertise with a hands-on approach to challenges. Awareness of manufacturing techniques, including injection moulding and machining. Advanced technical writing skills and proficiency in MS Office programs. A creative thinker who is detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
