sites. The role is office based, with occasional factory-based working where required. Working hours will be
Monday to Friday with flexibility to work at weekends when required 07.30 - 16.30. What will you be doing as an Engineering Project Manager at Avara? You will provide effective management of projects within approved budgets, agreed timescales, and Avara technical guidelines. This includes close liaison and collaboration with the Site Operational and Engineering teams to improve factory performance through design, installation, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Manage projects ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and compliance. Identify tasks required for projects, providing forecasted costs, timescales, and resource requirements. Provide Engineering and technical support and advice as required. Effective communication and influencing of key stakeholders in support of projects. Control and manage Contractors employed on Site and CDM documentation. Assess project tasks for potential impact on Company procedures and identify suitable actions to minimise risk. Organise activities for equipment commissioning and handover with Site Engineering teams. What we are looking for: Essential: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or HNC certification or Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering. 5+ years of engineering experience. Experience in managing projects (capital and continuous improvement). CAD experience. Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a timeline-driven environment. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work individually or as part of a team. Ability to problem solve. Good IT ability. Desirable: CEng or IEng Registered. NEBOSH or IOSH.
