Engineering Project Quality Manager
Location: Ellesmere Port Contract: 6 months (2 days per week) Pay: £450 per day PAYE / £540 per day (Limited, Inside IR35) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance activities for engineering projects at a high-hazard COMAH site at Ellesmere Port. In this role, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements while driving continuous improvement across all project phases. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective quality management systems and procedures. Create and maintain quality assurance plans, including inspection and testing protocols. Conduct regular quality audits and assessments on engineering processes and deliverables. Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and COMAH regulations. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). Master's degree in Quality Management or a related field (desirable). Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or PMP (preferred). Experience in quality management within engineering or manufacturing. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards, regulatory frameworks, and quality management systems. Proven experience working on COMAH sites or within high-hazard industries. Why Join our client?
