Attend handover meetings with the wider senior engineering team. Plan and organize the Engineering Team, delegating the schedule of planned maintenance. Fault find and maintain automated MHE including conveyors, shuttles, totes, and robotics. Respond to breakdowns. Mentor and lead the team. Maintain strong attention to detail. Manage system and equipment incidents. Manage spare parts and monitor inventory and usage. Have a strong understanding of control systems including WMS and SCADA. Ensure the team works within H&S guidelines at all times. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience for an Engineering Shift Manager
Apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering NVQ Level 3. Experience with leadership within Automation. Experience with Automated MHE. Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge.
