Stores Controller

to join our busy

Engineering

team at our production site in Eaglescliffe.

What's the mission? You will support our Engineering teams to exceed KPIs for schedule compliance, work volume, inventory levels, and drive a proactive approach to the prevention of equipment failure. You’ll also work closely with the Engineering Planner to ensure that appropriate engineering spares and inventory is identified, catalogued and available to support asset reliability.

You’ll strive to maintain a safe, organised, cost-effective, and proactive stores facility, ensuring that key spares are available to execute scheduled maintenance and support asset reliability.

What are the mission-critical skills?

Previous experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems and quality standards. Experience of computerised maintenance management systems. Ideally you will have the ability to identify key engineering equipment (PLCs, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics etc) Excellent planning and organisational skills. Able to multi-task whilst remaining focussed on detail / accuracy Self-motivated and able to work using own initiative. An electrical and/or mechanical qualification is desirable.
