GBP32,500 + generous benefits

Our client has been established for more than 30 years and is a global market leader in the provision of the highest quality infrastructure solutions for supply throughout the world. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2024, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Supervisor to complement their established and highly successful Refurbishment division.

Based in Cheltenham and reporting to the Construction Project Manager, the successful Engineering Supervisor candidate will play a crucial part in overseeing the preparation and delivery of large-scale modular installations in a busy workshop environment.

Tasked with supervising a team of multidisciplinary in-house tradespeople, you will assist in the planning and execution of modular installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards and industry applicable regulations.

You will liaise extensively with external contractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services and resolve any on-site issues or challenges that may arise to ensure projects remain on track, ensuring that all team members adhere to health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Other duties will include assisting in the allocation of resources, including materials and equipment, to optimize project outcomes, and providing regular updates to the Construction Project Manager on project progress, team performance, and any issues encountered as required.

To be considered for this varied and challenging Engineering Supervisor opportunity within a fast-paced professional environment, it is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in managing construction trades, with a strong background in carpentry preferred, along with a good knowledge of all construction trades, including electrics and plumbing. You will be an excellent team leader with effective organisational and multitasking abilities and possess excellent communication skills at all levels, along with the ability to solve problems and make decisions in often challenging situations.

You will demonstrate knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations along with proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment as required, with experience in modular construction or kitchen installations or familiarity with catering equipment and infrastructure solutions proving distinctly advantageous.
