Our client is looking for an Engineering Surveyor to support with their growth in work across the UK. Ideally, you would have your own kit and software; however, it is not essential.
Requirements Background:
Civils background, ideally within earthworks
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection:
Collecting and analyzing data using GPS, surveying instruments, digital images, and satellite photos
Mapping:
Creating maps and charts using computer-aided design (CAD) to map land for construction and civil engineering projects
Environmental Impact Assessments:
Identifying potential environmental effects of construction and advising on energy efficiency
Land Movement Monitoring:
Monitoring land movement due to construction and natural processes
Accident Investigations:
Investigating the root causes of accidents and equipment failures to determine if safety standards were not followed
Technical Reports:
Preparing complex technical reports and correspondence, and presenting data to clients
Land Redevelopment:
Assessing land that is due for redevelopment
Technical Specifications:
Preparing designs from technical specifications
Previous Land Records:
Examining previous land records to verify data from on-site surveys
Property Boundaries:
Measuring property boundaries
