Job Title: Engineering Team Leader | Location: Bradford
Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off days & nights
So what's it all about?
As our next Engineering Team Leader, you will be resilient, adaptable and confident in taking ownership of your work. Due to the nature of the fast-paced environment, using your own initiative will be key.
Leading a team of skilled Engineers, you will be responsible for repairing issues with the bakery production lines and implementing positive ideas for the reliability of the machines moving forward. You will be the go-to person on shift.
You will be instrumental in diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults within the factory. Your remit will be to carry out essential machine maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the production line, limiting downtime and enabling the team to focus on continuous improvements.
You will be passionate about the role Engineers play in making improvements and how you can proactively influence situations instead of just being reactive. In this role, you will ensure faults are found quickly and repaired efficiently.
You will be working less than half the year due to the fantastic shift pattern offer.
The Key Requirements... Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering Previous experience as an Engineering Team Leader within a manufacturing environment Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic We'll provide you with opportunities to learn new skills, grow and develop, and we aim to provide our colleagues with a job for life!
