Engineering Team Leader
with an electrical bias. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring 1 mechanical biased Engineer, working a rotational shift pattern, delegating tasks, and being responsible overall for the planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility. Please note, this is a rotational shift pattern including days, nights, and weekend working. Engineering Team Leader Responsibilities:
Managing 1 other engineer. Controlling the In-House Preventative Maintenance System. Working alongside the existing maintenance engineer as well as alone. Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks. Prioritising workload with the use of in-house systems. Playing an active part in site Health & Safety. Reviewing existing processes, with a view to offering improvement suggestions. Engineering Team Leader Applicant Requirements:
Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship program and hold an electrical qualification to level 3 as a minimum. Proven experience holding a similar role as a team leader or Supervisor. The successful candidate must have strong mechanical skills with the ability to work with drives, motors, pumps, pneumatic, hydraulics, conveyors, and rollers. Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostic experience. Experience with control systems including single and 3 Phase. Previous experience working on PLCs would be beneficial. Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility would be highly beneficial. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering diagrams and schematics. Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements. IT literate. Engineering Team Leader Benefits:
