I am excited to partner with a leading manufacturing company based in Leeds who have a vacancy for an Engineering Team Leader to join their team. The successful Engineering Team Leader will lead a small maintenance team and ensure that the onsite operation runs smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small friendly team working Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary. Candidates with a multi-skilled background from the Royal Navy, British Army, or Royal Air Force are encouraged to apply.

Engineering Team Leader Responsibilities:

Conduct daily maintenance tasks with the team and take the lead on escalating breakdowns. Liaise with the Planning department to schedule routine maintenance and assign tasks to the engineers. Ensure new machinery defects reported to maintenance are assigned to an engineer and rectified in a timely manner. Maintain stock control of engineering stores to identify and order all required spares/parts. Attend Risk Observation and Continuous Improvement meetings to offer opinions and solutions and be responsible for planning and assigning maintenance actions. Manage 5S within the department. Engineering Team Leader Requirements:

Hold level 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering. Must be multi-skilled and have strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. Demonstrable background in leading a team. Good organisation skills. Engineering Team Leader Benefits:
