I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is well established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add strength to the engineering team by bringing on a mechanical lead for a team of 4.

£52,859
Package:
5% matched pension + 24 days holiday
Shift:
4 on 4 off days and nights

Role
Lead the site Engineering teams to deliver production plans, service levels, and engineering strategy within quality, safety, and cost parameters. Implement & deliver the engineering strategy that will develop and drive reliability, improve quality, safety, and asset utilisation via all direct & indirect reports. Implement best practice maintenance principles for SHE/capital programme, care, and maintenance. Manage Engineering systems, structures, resources, processes, and ways of working. Responsible for the delivery of engineering KPIs that complement manufacturing performance, manufacturing KPIs, and OGSM objectives.
Experience
Mechanical qualifications (time served apprenticeship). Organised and able to prioritise workload. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential. 5+ years' experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation. Experience of leading an engineering shift for more than 3 years is essential.
