Are you a motivated and experienced Engineering professional looking to lead a dynamic team in a food production environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving our operations while developing a team of skilled engineers.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of multi-skilled engineers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability. Respond swiftly to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational processes. Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet operational goals. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration within the engineering team. Provide training and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth.
Minimum Requirements: A strong background in engineering, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector. Proven leadership and management experience, with a focus on team development and performance. Multi-skilled expertise, including electrical and mechanical engineering. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Relevant qualifications, such as HND/HNC in Engineering, or equivalent.
