Socode are proud to support a long-standing client in the Audio industry, in their search for an Engineering Technician to work as part of the wider engineering team in order to help create the next generation of audio products!

What's in it for me? You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic engineering environment consisting of mechanical, electronics, software, and acoustic engineers, all focused on contributing to cutting-edge audio technology. This role offers the chance to develop and test a wide range of audio products—from loudspeakers to headphones and automotive sound systems.

What will I be doing? As an Engineering Technician, you'll play a vital role in developing high-performance products by: Validating product performance. Analysing issues through market issues reports and sharing insight with the engineering team. Testing product compatibility with 3rd party services (Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, etc.) and 3rd party devices. Quality assurance for software deliverables from 3rd party partners. Assisting with point-of-sale solutions regarding product performance ahead of launches. Assisting the logistics department by preparing and distributing product samples for end-user testers and trade expos.

What do I need to be successful? You will have an analytic mindset and utilize data for your decision making. Able to work autonomously or in a team, being led by initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication. A genuine passion for music and audio! A degree is a preference, but not an essential requirement.
