We are looking for an Engineering & Training Manager for the UK & Ireland team of Sales Engineers and Trainers. WHAT IS AXIS? Axis is a fast-growing and innovative IT company with a global footprint. As the Engineering & Training Manager for the UK & Ireland, you'll lead a talented team of Sales Engineers and Trainers. Your mission is to deliver exceptional pre-sales engineering support, helping us drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. You will also oversee our Axis Academy, offering high-quality courses to partners and customers. As a driven people leader, you are responsible for managing, coaching, and coordinating your team of high-performing individuals. In this role, you will act both strategically, focusing on the long-term development of the function, and lead the operational and daily activities of the team. You will also work closely with our top partners and customers and support them on complex, critical, or high business potential activities. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Technical Leadership: Be the go-to contact on technology, products, and solutions Team Management: Actively manage and develop your high-performing team Strategic Development: Shape the future of sales engineering and training in UK & Ireland Customer Engagement: Collaborate with top partners and serve as escalation point for customer technical topics Collaboration: Collaborate with other Axis departments around events, projects, and various activities Industry Engagement: Keep updated on the latest developments in the security industry Continuous Learning: Develop your own skills and enhance team expertise WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We're seeking an enthusiastic leader with a passion for technology and people development. You have a keen interest in learning about Axis technology, products, and the security industry. You are a team player and have a passion for achieving results through others. We believe that the right candidate shows a proven success of working in a changing environment, balancing both strategic and operational topics daily. You have been leading and developing a team of high-performing individuals with an engineering background in a fast-paced sales environment. You are an experienced leader, and your open-minded approach and motivational skills make you a role model. Travels within the UK and Ireland and to the HQ in Lund, Sweden is a natural part of the role. Experience required: Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent 5+ years in people leadership roles Experience of leading and developing people with an engineering background Experience in security, CCTV, or related industries Strong communication and organizational skills Fluent in English, written and spoken WHAT CAN AXIS DO FOR YOU?
