Workshop Manager . This is a full-time position with a six month probation period, then a permanent position for the right candidate. Job Title : Workshop Manager Brief outline : Organising processes and programmes of work through the workshop Summary : To receive and organise pumps/pump repairs To provide costings to clients, deliver products back to customers once repaired. Main Responsibilities : Organise and oversee the workshop, prioritising servicing and repairs to be carried out. Liaise with Internal Departments to update on works being undertaken Liaise with customers/sub-contractors/suppliers Quote repairs/new pumps, produce reports Maintain safe systems of work Organise maintenance of plant equipment Carry out repairs/fault find on pumps, motors, and gearboxes. Carry out any other duties as required Responsible for managing workshop team Skills Needed : Organised and methodical Team Work and Leadership Skills Numerate, computer literate Develop/maintain customer relations Good written and verbal skills Customer service skills Keen eye for detail Physically fit (able to move and handle goods and tools) Self-motivated Able to organise and prioritise staff and work Training/Qualifications needed to undertake role : Recognised qualification in Engineering Minimum 5 years experience within an Engineering and Management role ILM 3 (desirable) Full driving licence Benefits: 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays Competitive salary Free parking Uniform provided Pension Scheme Staff discount Job Details: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 08:00am-17:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break) Pay:
