We are recruiting on behalf of one of our long established clients for a

Workshop Operative

to work in the Fabrication department of an engineering company based in Medway Towns. Your role will involve assisting the workshop section leader in all aspects of carrying out daily production tasks in a timely and efficient way, ensuring that client's needs and expectations are met. You will have experience of working in a metal workshop environment. Experience of operating machine tools such as: Press Brake Guillotine Rollers ...would be advantageous; however, it is not essential as training will be provided. In addition to this, you will be a team player, proactive, and well organised. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:30 Friday: 08:00 to 15:30 The position is initially on a temporary basis with an opportunity for permanent employment after a qualifying period for the right candidate.
