English Lecturer - 29.6 hours per week 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm Friday Employed for 52 weeks per year - up to £37,000 - depending on experience and qualifications. Deliver English GCSE and Functional Skills to students across various sectors, including Engineering, Construction, and the Service Industry Comply with and complete all relevant company paperwork Comply with statutory and company policies and procedures Abide by Ofsted, QCF, and company regulations at all times, ensuring that portfolios and learner files meet awarding body criteria Actively participate in, and promote, the safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults Practice and promote the importance of equal opportunities and diversity considerations, both for learners and within the workplace Attend bi-monthly team meetings and standardisation meetings Keep up to date with changes to national standards Work towards further professional qualifications to enhance skills and knowledge Organise and maintain a CPD file, ensuring current occupational competence is up to date and recorded Promote college values and adhere to safeguarding policies Engage in continuous professional development opportunities Benefits:

Degree in a relevant area Proven experience of teaching GCSE English (essential) Teaching qualifications, or a willingness to work towards them with support Consideration will be given to recent graduates or individuals looking for a career change Good basic general education including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above Proven experience with SEN Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT If you're ready to make a positive impact in students' lives and contribute to a culture of learning and growth, apply now!
