We are seeking a dedicated English Lecturer to join our client's educational team, focusing on teaching Functional Skills and GCSE English. This role is ideal for someone passionate about English education and skilled in curriculum development.
Day-to-day of the role:
Teach English to learners at Functional Skills and GCSE level, ensuring that each session is engaging and educational. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the Maths curriculum. Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the needs of students at different learning levels. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success. Required Skills & Qualifications:
A degree in English or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience in teaching English at Functional Skills and GCSE levels. Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities. Benefits:
