English Teacher Job in Bath Start: April Rate of pay: Competitive Location: Bath School Contract: April till May, potentially ongoing

The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students with a love for literature and language, helping them to develop strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles. Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes a deep understanding of literature, language, and writing skills. Encourage students to think critically and express their ideas confidently. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging goals. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for reading and writing. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices. Engage with students, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and development.

Qualifications: A degree in English, Education, or a related field. Teaching qualification and experience in a secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational trends and technologies.
