Role and Responsibilities: As an English Teacher at our school, you will: Deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring students are engaged and challenged in their learning. Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of the students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their full potential. Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons and schemes of work, ensuring that they are in line with the National Curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues across the school to promote a holistic approach to student development. About You: The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level. Possess a passion for teaching and inspiring young people to achieve their best. Be an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team. Have a deep understanding of the English curriculum and assessment methods at KS3 and KS4. Be committed to the school's values of inclusivity, support, and high standards of achievement. Have the ability to differentiate lessons to support the varying needs of students and manage classroom behaviour effectively. Demonstrate enthusiasm for continuous professional development.
