Are you an inspiring English Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a thriving Secondary School? We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher of English to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD school in Kidderminster on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator who is passionate about delivering the National Curriculum to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. Starting in January, the position runs until July, with the potential to become permanent. Job Role: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons aligned with the National Curriculum. Teach English to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. Take on full classroom responsibilities, including marking and reporting on student progress. Maintain excellent behaviour management to foster a positive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and support student achievement. Provide tailored support for ECTs, helping you to grow and develop in your teaching career. Required Skills and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT). Proven experience or confidence teaching KS3 and KS4 English. Excellent subject knowledge and familiarity with the National Curriculum. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. A passion for inspiring young learners in a Secondary School setting. Working as an English Teacher for Flourish Education offers: GBP160 - GBP220 per day, which equates to GBP31,200 to GBP42,900 per annum based on full-time work. The option of PAYE or Umbrella payments. Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates, 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot. Pension Contributions. Free KCSIE-compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, including modules on legislation, FGM, and abuse. GBP100 welcome to the team bonus after your first 10 days of work. Refer a Friend bonus scheme. Regular contact and support throughout your placements. This Secondary Teacher role is in Kidderminster, conveniently commutable from Stourport-on-Severn, Bewdley, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Halesowen, and Redditch.
