This position is ideal for candidates who are experienced at teaching to A Level. One of our John Taylor MAT schools is looking for an eager and enthusiastic English Specialist to start after February half term. Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in the design and provision of an engaging curriculum through appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, making policies and teaching strategies. Plan, prepare and deliver high quality learning experiences meeting the National Curriculum with regards for the school's aims, policies, and schemes of work. This includes online learning where necessary. Set engaging and challenging tasks ensuring a high level of students' interest. Adhere to the school behaviour management policy, setting clear expectations for students and establishing routines. A willingness to learn every step of the way. Experience teaching in a Secondary setting. Hold Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree. Be able to demonstrate recent classroom experience.
