English Teacher

to join a dynamic Secondary School in Caldicot. This role involves working with students aged 11-18 in a thriving English department, committed to helping pupils achieve their full academic potential. This position is ideal for experienced educators with at least one year of teaching experience. However, newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply. The role starts immediately and continues until the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities: Inspiring students to develop independence and critical thinking skills. Assigning meaningful homework and stimulating exercises to enhance learning. Delivering engaging and challenging English lessons in line with the national curriculum. Building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. Providing detailed, constructive feedback on assignments and essays. Requirements: Enhanced Child Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Two references from recent employers. Proof of the right to work in the UK.
