Role Overview: As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students' confidence and proficiency in English. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. Inspire and challenge students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students in their learning. Support students in developing strong literacy skills and a love for reading and writing. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as debate clubs or creative writing workshops. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in department meetings, planning, and professional development. Who We're Looking For: A qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable). Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best. A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
