We are seeking a talented and dedicated Full-Time English Teacher to join a vibrant team in Chichester. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about teaching and has the skills to inspire and support students in achieving academic success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality English lessons that align with the national curriculum and school standards. Fostering a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and collaboration. Utilising a variety of teaching techniques and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles. Designing and administering assessments to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for improvement. Maintaining accurate records of student performance, including grades and attendance. Collaborating with colleagues in the English department to share resources and best practices, and to ensure consistent teaching methodologies. Participating in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities as required. Engaging in continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest trends in English education. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board requirements. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service?
