English Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join this amazing Secondary School in Crawley. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students, foster a love for literature and language, and create a dynamic learning environment. This position is ideal for an individual who is enthusiastic about education, has strong communication skills, and is committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards. Foster an environment conducive to active learning and critical thinking. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and share best practices. Encourage students' participation in literary events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) or equivalent. Strong command of English grammar, literature, and communication skills. Experience in teaching is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and engage students effectively.
