ASAP We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of English to join our large and thriving department at our School. This role involves teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Our English department is fully staffed with specialists and boasts excellent facilities, including a dedicated block with teaching rooms and a staffroom. We are committed to teamwork, enthusiasm, and a sense of purpose in education. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Engage in curriculum development and planning within the English department. Participate in the appraisal and review process, contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching practices. Monitor and support student progress, implementing interventions where necessary. Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in extracurricular activities and events. Maintain up-to-date records of students’ attendance, behavior, and academic progress. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Demonstrable experience in teaching English at secondary school level. Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and recent developments in the field of English education. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training. Benefits:
