A school in Doncaster is seeking an English Teacher, who can inspire students, to join a highly successful and thriving English department. The successful candidate will be committed to outstanding teaching and learning. This is a contract position, starting in September through to Christmas but there may be the opportunity to continue beyond this and become permanent. The school: The school is a Doncaster based, large sized Academy that provides education for children from years 7 to 13 (ages 11 – 18). The English team is highly collaborative, sharing good practice and resources to provide the best learning experience for our students. They place students at the center of everything they do, with a focus on creating a supportive culture of success and a positive climate for learning. As an English Teacher at the school, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons. Assess and provide feedback to students. Collaborate with other English department members in engaging in departmental activities. Utilize a range of teaching and learning styles to engage and challenge students. Maintain and develop high standards of classroom management and behavior. In order to qualify for the position, you will: Hold a relevant degree qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
