This is a temporary, full-time position starting at Easter, ideal for someone who is passionate about teaching English literature and language across Key Stages 3 and 4. Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to a range of learning abilities. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Collaborate with other teaching staff to develop new teaching materials and coordinate activities. Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the broader educational mission of the institution. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4. Strong understanding of the current curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
