Job Title: English Teacher Location: Durham Contract Type: Long term temporary Leader Education are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Durham. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator with strong subject expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. The school is part of a well-established Multi-Academy Trust, a trust that fosters close connections with the local community. With a supportive and forward-thinking environment, this secondary school provides the perfect setting for an English Teacher eager to inspire students and make a lasting impact on their education. The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm. The successful candidate will have: Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications. A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one. Previous experience as an English teacher. Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice and guidance to pupils. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various learning types and abilities, striving towards social and academic development. High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
