About the Role This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their skills in a welcoming environment. The school provides robust support through its Senior Leadership Team, ensuring a smooth transition into the role and continued professional development. The position offers the possibility of a permanent contract after a successful probationary period or the option for a fixed-term contract, tailored to the preference of the right candidate. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Inspire students to develop a love for literature and language. Collaborate with colleagues to create effective learning resources. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Support the school's ethos by contributing to extracurricular activities and fostering a positive learning environment. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards it as an Early Career Teacher (ECT). A passion for English and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues. A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. An understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices in education. What We Offer A competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 per annum.
