About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work within a dedicated department to foster a love of literature, language, and communication, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students Assess and monitor student progress to ensure academic growth Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental activities Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate:
A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) Passionate about English literature and language Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is preferred
