English Teacher Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Secondary school in Harrogate to recruit a dedicated English Teacher. This is a full-time English Teacher position to start in September 2024, until the end of the 2024/2025 academic year. The successful candidate will be teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 and will have responsibility for their own exam classes. This Academy, based in Harrogate, has pupils who behave with maturity and are tolerant of one another. The new behaviour and engagement policy has raised standards in pupils’ behaviour. Requirements:

Well qualified with an honours degree in a relevant subject. Previous experience of teaching in schools or supporting lessons in either a mainstream, provisional or special needs setting. 2 x references from educational establishments. Evidence of an exemplary track record. A passion for success and quality teaching. An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service.
