We are seeking an English Teacher to join our client who is an 'outstanding' rated OFSTED school in Harrogate. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is ready to inspire and engage secondary school students. The ideal candidate will be available to start at the earliest opportunity, bringing passion and innovation to our client's thriving English department. Day-to-day of the role:

Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring English lessons that cater to the needs of all students across different ability levels. Engage students in the study of English literature and language, fostering a love for reading, critical thinking, and creative writing. Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for examinations and ensuring they meet their potential. Collaborate with other English department staff to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching techniques. Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school training events where required. Maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and student well-being. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in English. Experience teaching English at the secondary school level. Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks. Proven track record of effective behavioural management within the classroom. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students. Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards. Benefits:
