English Teacher Hastings Autumn 2024 Pay: £115 - £250 Location: Hastings, East Sussex Contract: Long-term, flexible About the School: Supply Desk is working with an ambitious secondary school in Hastings focused on improving attainment and fostering a strong culture of respect and inclusivity. They are looking to appoint a committed and passionate Teacher of English to deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons across the Key Stages. This role is long-term and full-time, with a view for the right candidate to turn permanent. About the Role: The role is a full-time opportunity, providing lessons in English and English Literature at all Key Stages, contributing to the school's excellent academic performance. Your lessons will align with the National Curriculum and the school’s proven teaching framework. Dedicated time for planning and marking is also provided for the right candidate. The school is looking for someone with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge, good classroom management, and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus. Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools. Be a committed team player. Have a proven track record of high attainment in results. Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content. Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills.
