Location: Sussex Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Long-term contract REED is assisting a secondary school in Sussex in their search for an English Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to develop and deliver a comprehensive English curriculum and foster a love for literature and language among students. Day-to-day of the role:

Develop and deliver a comprehensive English curriculum for various grade levels. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate continuous improvement. Encourage a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking through dynamic and innovative teaching methods. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate English education into the broader academic program and contribute to interdisciplinary learning. Stay updated with current educational trends and best practices in English teaching to ensure the highest quality of education. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification in English (state-specific requirements apply). Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A strong passion for literature, language, and student development. Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities and backgrounds. Hold an enhanced child-only DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one. Benefits:
