Vetro Education are seeking to recruit an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to work in a secondary school in the area of Caerphilly. The school supports learners in Key Stage 3 and 4 and has tasked Vetro to find an English Teacher who can hit the ground running and become a part of the English team from day one. The role itself is part-time, teaching Year 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes. This role is for an immediate start with the likelihood of the successful Teacher being at the school until the end of the summer term 2025. Overview:

Lead a classroom of learners - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Preparing the classroom for lessons and planning schemes of work where required Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as an English Teacher

At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs) Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this References covering the last two years (no gaps) Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one The right to work in the UK Interested?
