Fulltime, Long Term Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for language and literature? Do you have a knack for inspiring students to explore the depths of English language and literature? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a KS3 English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating English lessons to students in Key Stage 3, fostering their development in reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students in Key Stage 3. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel. Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of English language and literature. Assess student progress regularly through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the English curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns and celebrate achievements. Qualifications and Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable. Specialism in English language and literature, with a strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (or willing to obtain one). Eligibility to work in the UK.
