We are looking for a qualified and passionate English Teacher to join a secondary school in Tower Hamlets on a supply basis, starting immediately. If you’re an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a strong commitment to supporting students' academic growth, this is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in a dynamic school environment. As the ideal English Teacher for this role, you will: Possess a strong knowledge of the English language and English Literature curriculum at the KS3 and KS4 levels. Uphold a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment. Display a strong, mentoring personality toward students. Cultivate positive relationships with students, inspiring good behaviour and a passion for learning. Cooperate with and support your colleagues and additional classroom staff. Comply with and implement the school's policies and participate in their educational ethos. Requirements for an English Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4). Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly and manage a classroom effectively. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). We Offer: A supportive, friendly, and professional working environment.
