English Teacher Manchester Cover People are working with a Secondary School based in Manchester who are looking for a progressive and supportive English teacher to join their team. This will be a long-term role starting after the October half term until at least the end of the academic year. We expect this role to go permanent for the right candidate as the school has a permanent vacancy to fill. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic English teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed, and induction support will be available. As an English Teacher you'll be expected to: Hold a PGCE and UK QTS Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges. Maintain discipline. Oversee lesson planning and parents' evenings. Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative, and ambitious. Have a passion for teaching secondary English. Deliver English lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 - 16 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
