English Teacher
to join a dynamic co-educational secondary school in Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or experienced educators looking for a long-term role in a supportive and thriving environment. Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to encourage improvement. Use creative teaching methods to inspire a love for literature and language. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and share best practices. Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and discipline. Contribute to extracurricular activities that promote English learning and enrichment. Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge of English Literature and Language. Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities. Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment. Previous teaching experience in a UK secondary school (ECTs are welcome to apply). Excellent organisational and communication skills. A passion for teaching and a dedication to student success.
