As the new English Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering inspiring and engaging lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 if experienced. You’ll work closely with the department to develop the curriculum, contribute to student assessment, and support the school’s mission to continually improve outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly KS5, depending on experience) Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that challenge and engage students of varying abilities Track and report on student progress in line with school policies Work collaboratively with the English department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices Build a positive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and success Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives and support a positive school culture Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in English or a related field. You should have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4, and any experience with KS5 would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will bring a love of literature and language and a genuine desire to make a difference in students’ lives. Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Degree in English or a closely related subject Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students A commitment to high standards and improving student achievement School Overview
