About the role:
Supply Desk are working with a Secondary school based in Portsmouth that are seeking an English teacher to support students. The role will involve teaching all elements of English with some general cover, allowing time for planning and marking. The school is looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge, good classroom management, and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable skills or build upon existing experience in an educational setting.

Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a Secondary school based in the Portsmouth area on a long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent position.

Be able to deliver English in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
Hold a current valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
Be able to work confidently with Key Stage 3-5 pupils
