Annual Salary: Competitive Location: Scunthorpe Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Easter until the end of the academic year) We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school team in Scunthorpe. This full-time, temporary position is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator looking to make a significant impact in the classroom. The role starts at Easter and continues until the end of the academic year. Day-to-day of the role:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to foster student achievement. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Maintain discipline in accordance with the school policies and behavioural standards. Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events. Collaborate with other English department staff to enhance the curriculum and share effective practice. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching English at secondary school level. Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for English. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire students. Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards. Benefits:
