Role - English Teacher
Location - Tonbridge
Start Date - January - July 2025 - Full Time
Salary - 31,650 - 49,084 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are actively working with a good secondary school in the Tonbridge area who are looking for a motivated and passionate English Teacher. The role is teaching across KS3 and KS4 so someone with suitable experience in these areas is essential.
The role:
Plan and deliver creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 year groups
Monitor and assess student progress and provide relevant support where needed
Attend both departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required
Liaise and work closely with others in the English Department to ensure consistency
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
Proven experience as an English Teacher across KS3 and KS4 year groups
Excellent behaviour management skills to ensure students achieve the best outcomes in each lesson
Legal right to work in the UK
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
