About Us Our SEMH school in Wythenshawe is a nurturing and inclusive environment where we empower students to overcome challenges and achieve their potential. We work with young people who require additional emotional and social support, offering a tailored curriculum to help them succeed academically, socially, and personally.

The Role As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching that engages and motivates students with SEMH needs. You'll create a safe and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all pupils feel supported and inspired to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of all learners. Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs, promoting their confidence and self-esteem. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture, managing challenging behaviours with empathy and consistency. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed. Work closely with the SEN team, pastoral staff, and parents/carers to support the holistic development of each student. Contribute to the wider school community, participating in staff meetings, training, and school activities.

About You We're looking for a resilient and enthusiastic English teacher who is: Qualified:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential. Experience teaching students with SEMH needs is highly desirable. Compassionate:
