Protocol Education are working with secondary schools in the Bath and NE Somerset area to appoint enthusiastic and committed English Teachers/Professionals/Specialists. We are looking for individuals who carry a passion for English, working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives and education.

Qualified Teachers paid to scale

Unqualified - based on experience

Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students - IF UNQUALIFIED, NO EXPECTATION TO PLAN AND MARK

Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback

Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning

Establish a positive and supportive learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Preferred but not essential

Degree/Experience in English or related field

Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English

Experience:

Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level is preferred but not essential

Experience working with Children/Young People within education or similar field (coaching, youth work etc)

Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent understanding of English concepts and principles

Effective classroom management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
